What safety precautions should be paid attention to when using the hand-held laser welding machine?

Laser, like ordinary light, has biological effects (ripening effect, light effect, pressure effect and electromagnetic field effect). While this biological effect brings benefits to human beings, it will also cause direct or indirect damage to human tissues such as eyes, skin and nervous system if it is unprotected or poorly protected. In order to ensure the safety and protection of the laser welding machine, the laser hazard must be strictly controlled, and the engineering control, personal protection and safety management must be done well.

Precautions for using laser welding machine:

1. It is not allowed to start other components before the krypton lamp is ignited to prevent high pressure from entering and damaging the components;

2. Keep the internal circulating water clean. Regularly clean the water tank of the laser welding machine and replace it with deionized water or pure water

3. In case of any abnormality, first turn off the galvanometer switch and key switch, and then check;

4. It is forbidden to start the laser power supply and Q-switch power supply when there is no water or the water circulation is abnormal;

5. Note that the output end (anode) of the laser power supply is suspended to prevent ignition and breakdown with other electrical appliances;

6. No load operation of Q power supply is allowed (i.e. Q power supply output terminal is suspended);

7. Personnel shall wear protective tools during operation to avoid damage caused by direct or scattered laser;
