Protective lens is a very important precision component in the optical system of laser cutting machine. Its cleanliness has a great impact on the processing performance and quality of laser cutting machine. So, how to properly replace the protective lenses that have reached the service life?
Items to be prepared：
1. Dust free cloth
Absolute alcohol with concentration above 2.98%
3. Clean cloth cotton swab
4. Textured paper
5. New protective lenses
6. Hexagon wrench
7. Protective lens locking tooling
Replacement procedure：
1. Wipe
Wet the dust-free cloth with alcohol (cover the lid of the alcohol bottle in time to avoid accidental overturning), and gently wipe the periphery of the lens with a dust-free cloth to prevent dust from entering the chamber during disassembly.
2. Unloading
Use a hex wrench to remove the hex screw, then gently pull out the protective lens insert block, and seal the chamber with masking paper to prevent dust from entering.
Insert the protective lens locking tooling into the hole behind the protective lens card, rotate anticlockwise to remove the protective lens, and then pour the lens onto the dust-free cloth.
3. Clear
Gently wipe the interior of the protective lens insert with a dust-free cloth label to clean it.
4. Replace
Take out the new protective lens, tear off the protective paper on one side, then gently cover the protective lens insert block on the protective lens, turn it over, tear off the protective paper on the other side of the lens, load the pressing plate and locking ring in turn, and use the protective lens locking tooling to lock the insert block clockwise.
5. Installation
Tear off the masking paper, gently insert the protective lens insert into the chamber, and lock the hexagon screw.
